Meet Gideon: The Proud, Adoring Admirer

The 10" Glitterwood Guild Grande Size — Item #5 (Signed 1-of-1 Original Art Assemblage)

Gideon is a total charmer who wears his heart right on his sleeve. Dressed in a bold, glossy holiday red, he sits with a confident hand on his hip and his legs casually crossed, gazing out with an incredibly proud, adoring expression. His subtle, knowing smirk shows he is absolutely thrilled to be in your company. Gideon brings an air of quiet pride, deep devotion, and joyful affection to the Guild—making him the perfect companion to watch over your favorite space with pure warmth.

The Craftsmanship & Materials:
  • The Figurine: An authentic, unaltered, character-rich mid-century ceramic pixie figurine, hand-selected for his exceptionally confident posture, dapper crossing legs, and affectionate gaze.
  • The Canopy: A vintage-inspired mercury glass mushroom canopy, heavily encrusted in genuine, imported German silver glass glitter. This premium glitter casts a brilliant, multi-faceted diamond shimmer that modern materials simply cannot replicate, developing a rich, historical patina over the decades.
  • The Flora: Accented with a delicate blend of handmade and vintage metal flowers, each meticulously centered with genuine vintage metallic beads.
  • The Foundation: Built upon a rustic, natural wood slice base beautifully wrapped in curated, authentic vintage wallpaper.
The Build:
Affixing a completely rigid, unbendable mid-century ceramic figurine onto a rounded glass mushroom cap required a special technique that is nearly invisible. Gideon and the embellishments have been painstakingly joined to the mushroom cap using a hidden contact technique.

Specifications:
  • Dimensions: 10" Tall x 5". Fits beautifully on holiday mantles, tiered trays, or bookshelves.
  • Provenance: Hand-signed and numbered 1 of 1 by the artist. Includes an official archival-grade Glitterwood Guild Certificate detailing Gideon's unique character profile.
  • Storage: Gideon will arrive in a decorative yet sturdy box to keep him safe throughout the years. Since real silver will tarnish over time leaving a wonderful heirloom finish, we do recommend keeping him in the plastic covering he arrived in, inside the padded box in between seasons.
