Meet Pip: The Playful Belly-Crawler

The 10" Glitterwood Guild Grande Size— Item #4 (Signed 1-of-1 Original Art Assemblage)

Pip is the definition of boundless, joyful energy in the forest. Crawling forward on his belly with his little legs kicked high up behind him, he looks like he's about to dart off into a high-stakes game of woodland tag. With his rosy cheeks and side-glancing eyes, Pip radiates an infectious "catch me if you can" spirit, bringing a sense of playful motion, laughter, and youthful vitality to the Guild.

The Craftsmanship & Materials:
  • The Figurine: An authentic, unaltered, character-rich mid-century ceramic pixie figurine, hand-selected for his dynamic, acrobatic posture and mischievous, rosy-cheeked expression.
  • The Canopy: A vintage-inspired mercury glass mushroom canopy, heavily encrusted in genuine, imported German silver glass glitter. This premium glitter casts a brilliant, multi-faceted diamond shimmer that modern materials simply cannot replicate, developing a rich, historical patina over the decades.
  • The Flora: Accented with a delicate vintage metal flowers, each meticulously centered with a genuine vintage mercury glass bead, with more mercury glass beads scattered about.
  • The Foundation: Built upon a rustic, natural wood slice base beautifully wrapped in vintage wallpaper.
The Build:
Affixing a completely rigid, unbendable mid-century ceramic figurine onto a rounded glass mushroom cap required a special technique that is nearly invisible. Pip and the floral embellishments have been painstakingly joined to the mushroom cap using a hidden contact technique.

Specifications:
  • Dimensions: 10" Tall x 5". Fits beautifully on holiday mantles, tiered trays, or bookshelves.
  • Provenance: Hand-signed and numbered 1 of 1 by the artist. Includes an official archival-grade Glitterwood Guild Certificate detailing Pip's unique character profile.
  • Storage: Pip will arrive in a decorative yet sturdy box to keep him safe throughout the years. Since real silver will tarnish over time leaving a wonderful heirloom finish, we do recommend keeping him in the plastic covering he arrived in, inside the padded box in between seasons.
