Meet Oliver: The Sweet, Wide-Eyed Listener

The Glitterwood Guild — Item #9 (Signed 1-of-1 Original Art Assemblage)

Oliver is a sweet, innocent soul who carries a beautiful sense of childlike wonder. While he shares Milo’s relaxed, elbow-propped posture, his energy is entirely unique. Tilting his head upward with big, dark, attentive eyes, he looks as if he is listening intently to a tiny forest secret or the gentle whisper of the wind. Resting next to his lovely miniature floral arrangement, Oliver brings a soft, gentle, and deeply curious presence to the Guild—making him a truly endearing companion to watch over your favorite space.

The Craftsmanship & Materials:
  • The Figurine: An authentic, unaltered, character-rich mid-century ceramic pixie figurine, hand-selected for his sweet, wide-eyed innocence and attentive, listening expression.
  • The Canopy: A vintage-inspired mercury glass mushroom canopy, heavily encrusted in genuine, imported German silver glass glitter. This premium glitter casts a brilliant, multi-faceted diamond shimmer that modern materials simply cannot replicate, developing a rich, historical patina over the decades.
  • The Flora: Accented with an expanded, delicate blend of handmade and vintage metal flowers arranged in a tiny vintage porcelain vase, each flower meticulously centered with genuine vintage mercury glass beads.
  • The Foundation: Built upon a rustic, natural wood slice base beautifully covered in vintage wallpaper.
The Build:
Affixing a completely rigid, unbendable mid-century ceramic figurine onto a rounded glass mushroom cap required a special technique that is nearly invisible. Oliver and the floral embellishments have been painstakingly joined to the mushroom cap using a hidden contact technique.

Specifications:
  • Dimensions: 7 ½" Tall x 7" Wide x 3 ½" Deep. Fits beautifully on holiday mantles, tiered trays, or bookshelves.
  • Provenance: Hand-signed and numbered 1 of 1 by the artist. Includes an official archival-grade Glitterwood Guild Certificate detailing Oliver's unique character profile.
  • Storage: Oliver will arrive in a decorative yet sturdy box to keep him safe throughout the years. Since real silver will tarnish over time leaving a wonderful heirloom finish, we do recommend keeping him in the plastic covering he arrived in, inside the padded box in between seasons.
